Brian and I haven't posted anything in forever and so much has gone on that we couldn't possibly update everything so we will just have to start fresh :)! Last weekend Brian spent his weekend in Vegas with his friends watching the Breeders Cup. Poor Zenyatta, I was really rooting for her. I went to my first murder mystery party which was a blast! I won best actress (i guess i am a bit of a ham) and got to dress up in the 1920's style. My sister just had her 3rd baby yesterday! Zander Jesse Evenson is adorable and my sister is doing fine now. I'm so grateful she has a wonderful husband and children to take care of her since she is so far away from us!

The Birdcage

The Birdcage theatre was seriously the best part of the trip. We took tons of pictures during the day and then went on a ghost tour at night. OUTRAGIOUS! Brian got pretty freaked out at one point which I was surprised. What a pansy. It also seems to have the most interesting history because it was so many things...a theater for traveling shows...saloon...gambling hall....a house of ill repute (shady ladies....did you know they called them that because they had to walk on a certain side of the street in the shade...something like that). The fact that everything was still authentic and has not been renuvated made it even better... bullet holes and everything.

Tombstone adventure

One weekend Brian and I decided to take a trip down to Tombstone! That's the fun thing about Arizona, there are always tons of things to do and within a pretty easy drive. We did all the touristy stuff and got so excited we had to watch the movie Tombstone when we got home!

It's so nice having Prels come to visit. The boys are so cute when they together (brian's gonna hate this post hehe). Of course I had to snap of photo of Prels with the leftover pizza from Biancos :)

Coming Soon

1. Full Pizzeria Bianco trip report and review. The place deserves much more love than Celine gave it.
2. The PCS (Pizza Championship Series). Currently have 3 voters (possibly two if Eisen doesn't recant his pledge to vote for Papa Murphy's). Apply to be a voter in the comments.
3. Nienhouse geneology. I ordered a DNA kit from National Geographic after watching "The Human Family Tree". They will be able to trace my ancestry all the way back to Africa.

Bianco's was amazing

Brian and I had a great time catching up with Prels and our friends Chelsea and Brian Eisen. We went to Bianco's Pizza in Phoenix which is honestly the greatest pizza we ever ate. It won the James Beard Culinary award (only pizza place to ever do so) and was totally worth the 4 hour wait!! I'm so thankful for Brian who makes me try new things!

Nawotka's Bachelor Auction

Our friend Brian Nawotka was in a bachelor auction for a Leukemia fundraiser. The girls from work and I went to go support him :) it was fun and hilarious!
